My girlfriend and I were over at a friend of ours’ house this past weekend and I was having some fun with their Playstation 3 console. My girlfriend saw how much I enjoyed it and actually went out and picked up a Playstation 3 for me while I was at work yesterday. I would have never expected her to do anything like that, but I sure am glad she did. Now she’s going to have nobody but herself to blame when I stay up all night playing video games and get fired for showing up to work late because I slept through my alarm.

Great Source For Pet Supplies

I’ve been looking around online for a decent source of cat supplies and other pet supplies and I recently stumbled onto JeffersPet.com. They have a nice selection of products and their prices really seem great. I’m about to order a few items from their $2.00 menu and some other things. I can’t believe I’ve never been to this website before. I guess I’ll know where to go from now on.

North Carolina Real Estate

Lately I’ve been thinking bout investing into Wilmington NC real estate. A friend of mine tells me that the real estate in Wilmington North Carolina is going to go way up in value and that I should get in while I can. I don’t really have enough savings to really invest in anything major and I don’t know if I want to take out a loan or mortgage to do it. It seems like a very nice opportunity, though.

Finishing Some Home Improvement Projects

Lately I’ve been trying to finish some home improvement projects in my spare time. I ordered some new bathroom faucets and some other things but I haven’t had a chance to install them yet. My girlfriend won’t let me hear the end of it until everything is done. So far I’ve replaced our kitchen sink and garbage disposal, 2 toilets and added some outdoor lighting. It’s amazing how much of a difference that some little improvements can make in the look of a house.

Picking Up Some Additional Life Insurance

I’ve been calling around getting life insurance quotes from various life insurance companies and I think I’m ready to take out another policy. I don’t plan on anyone knowing about the new policy until I die and they get the papers for it. I’m thinking about going with a $200,000 policy, since I received a decent life insurance quote through a company that I did some computer work for. I just like the thought of my family being covered if something ever happens to me.

One of the other managers in my office recently asked me to place an order for some office supplies from one of the distributors we go through. He didn’t really specify what he wanted me to order, so I just went around the office checking out what we needed and what we were running low on. I’ll probably endup ordering the wrong stuff. He should have told me what to order.

It’s Time For A Nice Summer Vacation

I’m thinking about taking a nice little vacation this summer with my girlfriend. We’ve been budgeting and planning for a nice vacation for about 2 years now and I really think it’s time we took the plunge and cashed it in. We’ve been talking about going to either Las Vegas or Florida. I really enjoy going to Las Vegas, the atmosphere and everything is just very nice. I also like being outside and around at night, so Las Vegas is the perfect city for me. On the other hand, I’ve never been to Florida and it looks like it could be fun to just hang out on the beach and sip Margaritas for a couple of weeks. We’ll see.

Sold My Used Cisco Router

I recently picked up a used Cisco router at a computer store that was going out of business. I paid next to nothing for it and resold it to a guy at work for a nice size profit. It was in like-new condition and I couldn’t even tell it had ever been used. He seemed to be pretty happy about the deal as well.

He’s Taking Out A Mortgage On His House

A friend of mine recently took out a mortgage on his home. He talked to several different mortgage lenders to see who would offer him the best rates. He ended up going through a local bank that was highly recommended by some other friends of his that had previously done business with them. I really hope he made the right choice.

A Great Price For Some Saddles

A while back I stopped at a local yard sale and they had about 6 saddles for sale. I’m not really very knowledgeable when it comes to whats good and whats not-so-good when it comes to horses and that sort of thing. A friend of mine is really into western wear and that whole look. He has 2 horses and the whole 9 yards. I called him and he drove down to take a look at the saddles and ended up buying all of them for less than the price that one of them would have cost brand new. They weren’t even in that bade of shape.

I recently convinced a friend of mine at work to sign up for term life insurance. For some reason he never really put much thought into the importance of life insurance and neither had his wife. I would hate to think where either one of them would be if something happened to one of them and they were stuck paying thousands and thousands of dollars for funeral bills.

He Finally Got His XBox 360

My nephew has been begging his mom for an XBox 360 for the past 6 months. She hasen’t really had the extra money to buy the video game console for him, so I finally decided to go pick one up, along with a few games and drop it off at there house while he was in school. I was going to buy him a Playstation 3 game console, since it really seems to be the best one available right now, but she said he flipped out when he walked into his room and saw the XBox game system sitting on his bed. I’m glad I was able to do that.

Add A Spoiler To Your Car

My car was getting older, but still was in good shape. When shopping at car dealerships for a new one, I was also getting a price of what they would offer me for my car, for a trade in for another. After comparing what I could sell it for and trade in price I could get, I decided to sell it outright. I ended up getting a nice car, even though it didn’t look as sporty as I was hoping for. To help dress it up and make it look sportier, I shopped around for spoilers, which I wanted to have installed on the back of my car. I ended up having a rear spoiler on my new car, which makes it look more like a real sports car and I have received many compliments on it.

My New Plasma TV Mount

I always watch television at night while trying to go to sleep. I have so much furniture in my bedroom that the stand for my television I have been using took up more space than I wanted. I decided to buy me a plasma television finally. Instead of using or buying a stand for the floor, I decided to purchase a plasma tv mount. It really saves me so much room on the floor and is very handy to lay in bed and look straight across the room on the wall to watch it. I should have bought the television and mount a long time ago.

Summer Is Almost Here, Time For The Flip Flops!

Finally Upgrading My Ram

I am finally getting ready to upgrade my computer memory. I’ve only had 512mb worth of ram every since I built my computer back in December of 2005 and I really think it’s time for a much needed upgrade. I am still using Windows XP, which I really prefer over Windows Vista, so 2gb of ram will make a huge difference in my computer’s performance. I upgraded a friend of mine’s ram to 1gb a while back and there is such a big difference. I can’t wait to see what 2gb is like.

Our New Guest Bedroom

Last month, we got a phone call that some distant relatives were going to be coming to see us. They were my second cousin and her husband. They have no children but we still had to figure out where they were going to sleep. We have an extra bedroom, but it was being used as a junk room where we stored extra items that we didn’t want in other rooms or have room in them. We decided to clean that room out and make it a guest bedroom. We already had all the bedroom furniture, except for the bed. We shopped around and looked at platform beds and decided to buy one of them. It worked out great. There was no need to buy anything for it except for a cheap foam mattress. It was an oak finish so ended up looking great and everyone that has used it says it is very comfortable.

My sister was shopping for some winter boots. She had no idea what type,or brand, of boot to get. She shopped for them on the internet and also in stores. She started off at department, shoe, and clothing stores. She found one pair of nice thigh high boots in a store that specialized only in shoes. They were very nice leather ones. She could wear these to stay warm, as well as to look nice. She was advised by a sales person that they also make other thigh high boots in lingerie stores. Since she frequently enjoys going to nice clubs for drinks, she decided to check this out. She did, in fact, find another pair of shiny black leather boots that lace up. She bought them and they make her look dressed up, yet sexy, at the same time.
