Our family decided to go to Las Vegas this year for our yearly Summer vacation. We have never taken our family trip there. My wife and I have gone there for a long weekend, but that was all. Many people think there are not many things for children to do there. Immediately after we got there, we bought a Las Vegas travel guide. It told us and illustrated many different stores, shows and entertainment sites for the entire family. Whenever we travel anywhere, we always get a guide of the area we are staying at. This year, we wouldn’t have had such a good time if we wouldn’t have purchased a Las Vegas travel guide.

My friend came to me and needed my help in assisting her schedule a trip to several states. She was traveling to see several different relatives in several different states. She had never traveled a whole lot in her lifetime. We searched the internet and also met with people working at travel agencies. There were many different travel deals that offered airlines and also others that offered special prices on restaurants and hotels if driving. She only has a short amount of time before she has to decide and confirm her plan.

Last month, I was given notice by my boss that I was being transferred to a different state. I have a family, so this was a very major event for us. My wife had to change jobs, my children were having to change schools and we would also be moving away from our families. Even though I would have my job, my wife was worried about finding one that suited her and paid as much as she makes now. Luckily, we had 3 months before the transfer took place. We, first found a home to live in and took care of all that paperwork. The next step was helping my wife find a job. We were moving to Atlanta, Georgia. Neither of us had ever been there before. In searching for jobs in Atlanta, we were shocked to how many there were available. It only took my wife three and a half weeks and she landed a job that she loves. It was very much like the one she currently had, and also paid more than she was making before. We never realized how many jobs in Atlanta that there really were. We were amazed and happy at what we found. Our children also made lots of friends with our neighbors and loved their schools.

I’m thinking about taking a nice little vacation this summer with my girlfriend. We’ve been budgeting and planning for a nice vacation for about 2 years now and I really think it’s time we took the plunge and cashed it in. We’ve been talking about going to either Las Vegas or Florida. I really enjoy going to Las Vegas, the atmosphere and everything is just very nice. I also like being outside and around at night, so Las Vegas is the perfect city for me. On the other hand, I’ve never been to Florida and it looks like it could be fun to just hang out on the beach and sip Margaritas for a couple of weeks. We’ll see.

My uncle found out 2 weeks ago that he was being transferred to Wilmington, North Carolina. Since I had over 6 weeks of vacation time left, I decided to fly there with him to look at the property there. It was unbelievable how many real estate offices were located there. We only spent a few nights there, so he could discuss business with his Employer and we also spoke with a few real estate agents. After we came home, my wife and I babysat his children while his wife and him took another trip there to check out the schools, houses and different locations. It was unbelievable how many different agents handled and sold Wilmington real estate. It was a very hard decision, but they finally found a home and are planning to move within the next 6 weeks.

Last month I took a trip to Las Vegas. It took longer than usual to find a reasonable deal that included both airfare and lodging. The cheapest package ended up only costing $239.00 for 3 nights and 4 days. That made it possible for me to be able to purchase travel insurance, which is very important to have. A lot of people decline getting it, but if they would read more about it, they might think twice and get it, too.

With tourist destinations being more popular than ever in the midwest and with all of the land for sale Branson has become a real hot spot for real estate investors. More people than ever are seeking land in and around areas such as Branson Missouri to build vacation homes and stores to try and cash in on the tourist traffic. I wish I had the money to invest in real estate someplace close to Branson. That would make a nice little vacation spot.

A friend of mine recently moved from New York and he had a pretty hard time finding a mover NYC company that would move him for a reasonable price. He ended up using a company called Shleppers. He said they offered some of the most competitive rates that he could find and they did a very good job. I wish I could have found a company like that when I moved here.
