Many people often think you need to spend lots of money and buy the best in furniture. I usually try to buy nice furniture but don’t necessarily need the best or most expensive. Recently, I was changing my entire furniture and decor in my living room. I decided to shop at some thrift stores, specialty stores and retail stores. The last purchased I needed to make was some TV furniture. I found a store that only sold furniture that I found everything I needed in one store. We decided to clean that room out and make it a guest bedroom. We already had all the bedroom furniture, except for the bed. It was an oak finish so ended up looking great and everyone that has used it says it is very comfortable.

My father was renovating an older home he purchased. He wanted to put it back to its original style, if possible. At one time, it had nice fiberglass columns inside and outside. A couple of them were still outside but were old and appeared to have never been painted correctly, so needed to be torn down and replaced along with the ones inside. He had planned on starting the home project and having it finished within 6 months. He ended up taking more time and doing everything properly, so it would last a long time. After installing the inside columns, he was reading about the outside ones. He learned a lot about them and put the additional coating on them, as the directions said to do. When he was completed with the job, it was beautiful. I wished I would have added fiberglass columns in the home I had built several years ago.
