My son is starting school soon. He will be attending High School this year. He went with some friends to buy his school clothes this year. Usually, I would take him and some of his friends. When he came home from shopping, I was shocked to see how much he was able to buy. He really found some great buys. The only question I had was some of the shirts he bought. He purchased 6 funny t-shirts with different sayings and pictures on them. I didn’t object to him wearing them, but wondered if they would allow these to be worn at school. Luckily, I knew one of the ladies that worked in the school office, so I decided to call her. I read each one of them to her and described the picture on them. She said that all of them should be accepted with no problem. She also said that many kids in High School wear these funny t-shirts, instead of dressing up much. She even told me where I could find more to buy in the future, which was very helpful.

Many people often think you need to spend lots of money and buy the best in furniture. I usually try to buy nice furniture but don’t necessarily need the best or most expensive. Recently, I was changing my entire furniture and decor in my living room. I decided to shop at some thrift stores, specialty stores and retail stores. The last purchased I needed to make was some TV furniture. I found a store that only sold furniture that I found everything I needed in one store. I was very pleased to also shop during one of the store’s sales. I actually saved more than half of the amount I was planning on spending. When shopping for tv furniture, a person should shop around and compare prices before making their final purchase. I was glad I did.

My girlfriend and I were over at a friend of ours’ house this past weekend and I was having some fun with their Playstation 3 console. My girlfriend saw how much I enjoyed it and actually went out and picked up a Playstation 3 for me while I was at work yesterday. I would have never expected her to do anything like that, but I sure am glad she did. Now she’s going to have nobody but herself to blame when I stay up all night playing video games and get fired for showing up to work late because I slept through my alarm.

I’ve been reading a lot about self defense products lately. I’ve got a bit of an addictive personality, so when I get into something, like knives or anything like that, I tend to REALLY get into it and become almost obsessed with it. My girlfriend keeps having to remind me that im not in “Black Ops” and don’t need to have a closet full of weapons.

A while back I stopped at a local yard sale and they had about 6 saddles for sale. I’m not really very knowledgeable when it comes to whats good and whats not-so-good when it comes to horses and that sort of thing. A friend of mine is really into western wear and that whole look. He has 2 horses and the whole 9 yards. I called him and he drove down to take a look at the saddles and ended up buying all of them for less than the price that one of them would have cost brand new. They weren’t even in that bade of shape.

My nephew has been begging his mom for an XBox 360 for the past 6 months. She hasen’t really had the extra money to buy the video game console for him, so I finally decided to go pick one up, along with a few games and drop it off at there house while he was in school. I was going to buy him a Playstation 3 game console, since it really seems to be the best one available right now, but she said he flipped out when he walked into his room and saw the XBox game system sitting on his bed. I’m glad I was able to do that.

I am finally getting ready to upgrade my computer memory. I’ve only had 512mb worth of ram every since I built my computer back in December of 2005 and I really think it’s time for a much needed upgrade. I am still using Windows XP, which I really prefer over Windows Vista, so 2gb of ram will make a huge difference in my computer’s performance. I upgraded a friend of mine’s ram to 1gb a while back and there is such a big difference. I can’t wait to see what 2gb is like.

My sister was shopping for some winter boots. She had no idea what type,or brand, of boot to get. She shopped for them on the internet and also in stores. She started off at department, shoe, and clothing stores. She found one pair of nice thigh high boots in a store that specialized only in shoes. They were very nice leather ones. She could wear these to stay warm, as well as to look nice. She was advised by a sales person that they also make other thigh high boots in lingerie stores. Since she frequently enjoys going to nice clubs for drinks, she decided to check this out. She did, in fact, find another pair of shiny black leather boots that lace up. She bought them and they make her look dressed up, yet sexy, at the same time.
