A friend of mine at work has been bringing in a huge variety of appetizers and things that his wife has been making at home. He brings in big heaping plates full of the most delicious snacks I have ever had in my life. I’ve probably gained 10 pounds in the last month just from eating the food that he has brought in. I wish I knew how to cook.

A few days ago I ate at this place called Chipotle Grill. I had never been there before and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. They serve tacos and burritos in a variety of different combinations. They have steak, porn and chicken. I had the chicken and it was very good. The burritos are huge , at least a few inches in diameter and they are very cheap as well. The chicken was great, very tender and juicy, not dry like you find at alot of places. They also serve “burrito bowls” which is basically the contents of the burrito inside of a bowl if you dont want to mess with trying to eat a burrito that is 3 inches around. I made the mistake of ordering the burrito instead of the burrito bowl, dispite my friend telling me I should order the bowl. The price for a chicken burrito or burrito bowl is only about $6.50 with tax. Thats a great price for some freshly cooked meat and veggies. They make the burritos right in front of you, similar to how Subway makes sandwiches.

I love pancakes but I hate purchasing the mix and going through the long process of mixing, pouring and flipping them to perfection.

Alas, I’m at the grocery store and I decided to pick up some pre-made pancakes. Now I had bought some of these before at Walmart and they were really good. But this time I bought a cheap brand at one of the corner store and let’s just say that its still sitting up in the fridge ready to get thrown out. It smelt fresh like raw eggs and whether you tried to toast it or microwave it, it had a rubbery feel to it. So I’ve gone back to basics. It was only yesterday that my landlord told me that the mixer that we both had was good for mixing pancakes. No more pre-made pancakes for me.

I absolutely love McDonalds meals. Love them! Am I the only one wishing that they actually made home delivery? There’s something about their fries I can’t seem to get enough of. I’ve tried Berger King but I’m not too thrilled with their burgers. KFC although I absolutely love their spicy chicken, I don’t care for their potato wedges. It’s just too much to eat and by the time you get done, there isn’t any room left for the chicken. Am I right on that? How many of you have found yourself leaving a lot of skin on the chicken after having those wedges? McDonalds serves fries that are done right, even down to the saltiness of it. Ok now I’m hungry. Anyone else for McDonalds.
