I sell a variety of products online. The majority of items I sell consist of CDs and DVDs. Listing CDs and DVDs on eBay can take hours at a time if you have a large amount of titles to list. A while back someone recommended that I use a barcode scanner to list movies and music online. I didn’t know, but if you use a barcode scanner, you simply have to scan the barcode of the item you’re going to list and eBay pulls the product details from an online database and you have nothing to type in for item details. I’m currently using the Symbol LS2208 barcode scanner and I love it. I can list hundreds of items in a very short period of time compared to how long it took me to type all of the item details by hand. I wish I would have started using a barcode scanner years ago.

Computer Programming Jobs
It seems as if so many people are losing their jobs today, with the economy being the way it is. Many people search and search for a new one each day and have many problems finding one. If people check out colleges, they can often lead them into the right direction of where the jobs seem to always be. Many colleges offer courses and degrees in computer programming. This is one degree that a person can usually use in finding many programmer jobs available.
Laptop Memory Upgrade
Yesterday I finally got around to ordering myself some new laptop memory for my home laptop. A couple of months ago I upgraded the memory on a few of our laptops at work and it really increased the performance like you wouldn’t believe. Every since then I’ve been wanting to upgrade my home laptop memory but haven’t wanted to spend the money or I forgot to even look at it when I’ve been online. HOpefully it gets here soon so I can put it in.
Finally Upgrading My Ram
I am finally getting ready to upgrade my computer memory. I’ve only had 512mb worth of ram every since I built my computer back in December of 2005 and I really think it’s time for a much needed upgrade. I am still using Windows XP, which I really prefer over Windows Vista, so 2gb of ram will make a huge difference in my computer’s performance. I upgraded a friend of mine’s ram to 1gb a while back and there is such a big difference. I can’t wait to see what 2gb is like.
Used Cisco Router
Today a guy at work sold me a very nice used Cisco router for a very cheap price. He said that he wasn’t sure if it still worked or not, but I went ahead and got it from him anyway. It was about 85% cheaper than it would cost in a store and I really needed a new router for a friend of mines office.
My Dream Computer
I can’t believe in this day and age I’m still rocking a computer that operates Windows ME. It sucks and I don’t think the computer has upgrading capacities. Then recently the CD burner drive has been displaying some crazy antics, like opening and closing on its own. Then other times it would make a loud noise so deafening that I’d have to shut it down and restart. I’ve worked around Macs all my life and have learnt to appreciate such stature in a computer. And if money were no object, I’d really like to get the sleek MacBook Intel notebook where I can load my beloved Photoshop, Quark Xpress and other publishing and design programs of that nature. This notebook is over $1,000, money that I cannot afford to spend on a computer right now.
Spring Clean Your IM List
How many people do you have listed on your Instant messenger list? How many of them do you talk to or go invisible as soon as you see them appear on line? If this is the ritual you go through, then it’s time that you filter your instant messenger list. I had to remove a lot of people who only saved me because they saw my name someplace on the Internet, wanted to ask a question, saved me and I never heard from them again. What’s up with that? So now I’m down to three people on my list, with one going really soon because his conversations are laced with sexual undertones and there’s only so much of that stuff I can take. But I’m surely getting down to two people only and there’s nothing quite wrong with that. It does not mean that I’m friendless, just keeping things real.
