Blogging Rules

I know that if someone owns a blog, they have right to put whatever they want in it but it’s time that someone came out with blogging rules. You see one of my former schoolmates recently had a baby and she found herself in a predicament of not getting support from the child’s father. Lo and behold I’m reading her blog one day and old girl is begging for stuff from her newfound fellow bloggers for her child. It would not have been bad if she was asking for the simple stuff like diapers, tee shirts, and bibs. This girl was asking them to get her expensive things like stroller, car seat, baby walker and even designer diaper bags. Needless to say, her wish list remained empty for months except for a few takers on baby bottles and tee shirts. After everyone had contributed all that their pockets would allow, she had the nerve to blog that while she was grateful for all that she had received, she and her son were still in need. Imagine that! I hope that she realizes one day that the world does not owe her anything and that she needs to take charge of her own responsibilities.
