My car was getting older, but still was in good shape. When shopping at car dealerships for a new one, I was also getting a price of what they would offer me for my car, for a trade in for another. After comparing what I could sell it for and trade in price I could get, I decided to sell it outright. I ended up getting a nice car, even though it didn’t look as sporty as I was hoping for. To help dress it up and make it look sportier, I shopped around for spoilers, which I wanted to have installed on the back of my car. I ended up having a rear spoiler on my new car, which makes it look more like a real sports car and I have received many compliments on it.

Auto insurance is truly a good coverage to have. You never quite appreciate this type of insurance until you get into an accident and it isn’t your fault. Last week I crashed my Ford Expedition and an Eddie Bauer edition to boot while driving  in the nasty New England weather. And as much as I was upset about how the accident happened, having insurance definitely took the load off my shoulders. What’s even sweeter is that my insurance company has opted to pay half of the car rental fees until my ride gets fixed.

I always wanted to buy a GPS unit for my truck. When pricing them in a store, they seemed way too expensive. I finally bought one and now I don’t know what I ever did without it. It is the best thing I have ever purchased for any of my vehicles that I have ever owned. I don’t have to drive forever, and waste gas, or stop and ask for directions. The GPS navigation unit is a very handy item. It also saves me from driving as much, especially with the cost of gas prices being so high now.

A friend of mine recently joined a program that allows him to buy auto accessories at direct wholesale prices. He’s thinking about opening his own website to sell stuff on, since he can get such a great deal on it all. He has already made orders for probably $7,000 worth of parts and accessories just from his friends trying to get good deals on things.

A while back someone ran into my car while it was sitting in a mall parking lot. They didn’t stick around long enough to leave any information. When I came out and saw my car I was a bit perturbed to say the least. Luckily a friend of mine works for a big body shop and he can get body shop supplies for a very nice discount. Luckily he said that if I would give him the money for the supplies that he would fix the damages for free.

A friend of mine recently ordered a custom billet grille and dash kit for his Dodge Charger from WoodDashExperts.com. He was a bit skeptical about how the quality would be and how it would look once he got the pieces installed but it really came out looking top notch. His girlfriend wants him to order some custom parts for her car now that she sees how good his Charger looks.

A friend of mine just purchased a brand new Mustang. I had previously never had a chance to take a ride in the new model of the Mustang, but it’s a fantastic car. I used to be a fan of mustangs in the early 90’s and havent really been into them for quite some time, but I’ve got to say, I loved this car.
