Drag Car

I have owned an older car for many years now. I have kept it stored in my detached garage of my home. I finally decided, after about 12 years, to fix it up to race it at a local drag strip. I wanted to get the engine and other mechanical parts installed before doing any body work to it. I found out that by buying special performance parts for it, it would run so much better, and last longer. It may have cost a little more money, but will last so much longer than if I bought cheap parts that were not made for racing. After I was done with all the mechanical work on it, I fixed the body up. I began racing almost every weekend and have won several trophies and money prizes. If I had not have used the special performance parts, It might not be running today, and I would not be able to race. It’s been so much fun and exciting drag racing and I have now talked a couple of my friends into doing it, too.
