Credit Cards - An Unnecessary Necessity?

Today there are more people than ever relying on credit cards to get them by. The majority of Americans are in debt and will stay in debt for many years to come. This debt isn’t all because of credit cards, loans and poor financial decisions also contribute. Most people don’t just use their credit cards when it’s completely necessary. Sure, that new LCD big screen tv is nice, but is it worth charging on your credit card? Most people don’t get their credit cards paid off for years, meaning you can endup paying double or more for items that you charge on them. Personally, I only charge items that I know I will be able to pay off in a timely manner. There arent many companies out there that offer 0% credit cards, but if you can find a credit card that offers 0% interest, even if it’s only for 6 months, I would use that credit card before any other. That 6 months gives you time to try and put the money back to pay off the charges before any interest kicks in. The credit company I currently use was offering 0% balance transfers when I first signed up, so I was able to transfer my existing card’s balance over to my new one without any hassle.
