Military Spouse Perks

Being a military wife has its ups and downs, especially when your spouse is deployed and contact is scarce. But organizations such as the Military Family Program within the military have helped to make the burden somewhat lighter. For the spouse that is left behind, the program is designed to help them along whether it be to offer financial assistance, free household repair services and even psychological assistance on how to cope while your spouse is overseas.

I’ve benefited from a lot of the military’s help and I am forever indebted to them for this. Even the kids of the military parent do not go unnoticed. I was quite surprised when my kid received a certificate and a medal of merit as a thank you for what her father is doing to help protect the country. She’s too young to understand the meaning of it now, but I’m keeping it someplace safe so she can enjoy it when she gets older.
